As the name suggests, Meon Valley Cycling Club is based in the heart of the rolling hills of the Meon Valley (Hampshire). The club draws its members from the villages of Swanmore, Bishops Waltham, Wickham and the surrounding area.

Although some of the longer serving members have been riding together since 2007, it took until 2013 before the group had expanded to over 20 riders and that the MVCC was formed. 

More recently we designed a kit to help unite the team and to identify our group and keep together during sportive rides.

It must be noted that we are not trying to rival or draw members from other really good local clubs such as Fareham Wheelers and Portsmouth North End. We just wanted to form a club as we all live in the area and we ride together. 

We are not primarily a racing club although a few members are known to indulge in regular XC and TT events. 

Our main passion is riding together in Sportives, club organised tours such as: London to Paris, 4 day tour of Vendee, Pau to Barcelona, Tour of Flanders, Gerona, Pyrenees and the Alps) and weekly club runs. By the way ....... no one gets left behind!
